Tour 1

From the chapel to the fortress

In the first tour we explore some of the spots closest to the heart of the county. In this tour, with a duration of 1h30 we will visit the surroundings of two old churches located near a river, until we climb a hillside to find a fortress from the Napoleonic invasions that watches 360 of sea to town.

Tour 2

The legend of Socorro

In the vineyards of the volcano, we leave in direction of Penedo that watches over Cheleiros, hiking briefly to discover the volcanic geologic formation. 

Following to 2 windmills, one of them being architecturally uncommon. Passing by the railway station of Mafra, decorated by the typical Portuguese tiles. Afterwards, in our way to Cheleiros by a rail that pursues the river that crosses the region we finish in the Manzwine wine House with a guided tour and optional wine tasting.  

The price doesn’t include the Wine tasting (6 per adult) which implies a previous warning of 48h, the wine tasting isn't realized on Mondays. 

The payment will be made by credit card in the beginning of the tour. 

By salt and sand we will cross the beaches of the county from north to south, making known the best surf points as well as more sheltered corners to enjoy Atlantic sun.

DURATION: 2h30 / 3h30   |   PRICES PER PERSON:  

In the expedition through the animal life, we will start with the visit of a shelter to one of man's greatest friends in the ??? tradition, the donkey. In this guided tour it's possible to interact directly with the donkeys, even hiking through the zone that surrounds the vast area where they habit. 

In the second part of the visit we aim to alert about the protection of the mythic Iberic wolf, whose habitat and coexistence has become incompatible with the human development.
